Through the Grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Copticstudents.com is an online community between many Christian Coptic Orthodox university associations in Canada.  Our primary mission is to unite members of these Coptic Associations. First, we facilitate communication within each club by providing a website to post information.  Mailing lists are also available to for each club to facilitate announcements via email.  Each club can contribute spiritually to the website by encouraging members to post reflections, session notes, Saints of the month, etc.

Secondly, by bringing all these Coptic clubs to one website, we hope to unite them online, and promote inter-university collaboration.  Execs from all clubs stay in touch with each other via a listserv, which has helped to organize many inter-club events; one example if the annual Coptic Clubs BBQ which is a huge success every year!  Make sure to check out the photo album and see for yourself!  As well, the discussion board helps facilitate discussion between the members of all the clubs.

We hope that this online experience will allow everyone to learn and benefit spiritually and academically from their brothers and sisters from their own clubs, as well as other clubs.

History:

This website was founded in 2003, initially designed for the three campuses of the University of Toronto, Scarborough, Erindale and Downtown.  Each club had their own section, independant of other clubs.  Eventually, our brothers and sisters from York University and McMaster University joined us, however, the website was lacking in partnership, so it was redesigned to promote collaboration between all the clubs.  In 2008, we have had the blessing to welcome our brothers and sisters from Ryerson, UOIT and Manitoba U.

How to Join:

We welcome any University Coptic Association and would love to have you join our community!  Just have your president or an executive contact us and we will arrange everything! It's that simple.

Please pray for the success of this website, that it may benefit us spiritually during our academic endeavors.

In Christ.
